An Authentic Police Uniform

Balamory's PC Plum, played by Andrew Agnew (pictured), stood out for wearing a real Strathclyde Police cap as part of his uniform, giving the children’s character an unexpectedly authentic edge.

He also became a fan favourite for his over-the-top musical moments, including a rock-opera style performance inspired by Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody, where he dramatically played electric guitar on a rooftop.

Agnew is confirmed to return as PC Plum in the 2026 revival, bringing one of Balamory’s most recognisable characters back to screens.
