Dorothy’s beloved dog Toto was played by a Cairn Terrier named Terry - and the little star earned an impressive salary.

Terry was paid $125 a week, and her owner later admitted she wished she had asked for more, knowing the producers were determined to cast the dog.

Remarkably, Terry made significantly more than the Munchkin actors, who earned roughly $50 a week.
