Sequel

After nearly 40 years of waiting, it was finally confirmed in 2024 that a Spaceballs sequel was in the works.

Bill Pullman, Rick Moranis and Daphne Zuniga are all confirmed to return for the flick alongside Mel Brooks, though the filmmaker will not be directing the movie and will instead only appear as Yogurt.

Instead, Josh Greenbaum is due to direct the Spaceballs sequel, while Benji Samit, Dan Hernandez, and Josh Gad write the script.

Bill Pullman’s son Lewis Pullman and Keke Palmer are also attached to the Spaceballs movie, which is set to land in cinemas in 2027.
