Pokemon
‘Pokemon’ has had plenty of movies and TV shows - with the animated 1997 TV programme perhaps being as iconic as the gaming franchise itself - and the series got the live-action film treatment with ‘Detective Pikachu’ in 2019.
The flick - which starred Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Rita Ora, Suki Waterhouse and Bill Nighy - follows Tim Goodman as he and Pikachu go searching for his detective father Harry after he mysteriously disappeared.
A sequel to ‘Detective Pikachu’ was confirmed to be in development before the first movie hit screens in 2019, though updates on the project have been few and far between.
However, it has been confirmed Jonathan Krisel will be directing the movie, which will be more of a spin-off from the first flick rather than a direct sequel.
