Uncharted

‘Uncharted’ swung onto screens in 2022, and captured the adventurous, ‘Indiana Jones’-esque essence of Naughty Dog’s game series.

The movie follows Nathan Drake (Tom Holland) and Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan (Mark Wahlberg) as they embark on a globe-trotting quest to recover a 500-year-old lost fortune, while the villainous Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas) does everything in his power to find the treasure for himself.

An ‘Uncharted’ sequel is currently in the works at Sony Pictures, with Wahlberg revealing in February 2024 that the script had been completed and he had been told to “start growing [his] moustache” to portray Sully once more.

He teased: “I just got a call today that they got the script in. I can't grow a real beard and moustache, but they said, ‘Start growing your moustache. It's gonna take a while.’

“I'd be interested to see what the story's like, and where that adventure takes us. But I'm excited; I know audiences really loved the first one, so we'll see.”
