Taking a pay cut
While Leonardo DiCaprio signed on for an eye-watering sum of $10 million, his co-star Jonah Hill - who played Jordan’s right-hand-man Donnie Azoff - did not receive as big a pay check.
In fact, the actor accepted a fee of $60,000 - the minimum amount he could be pair per SAG-AFTRA - because he was so enthusiastic to work with director Martin Scorsese.
He recounted: “I would sell my house and give him all my money to work for him. This isn't what you make money for.
“I would've done anything in the world. I would do it again in a second…
“This isn’t about money. You should do things that you care about.”
