Fat Monica

Throughout the run, several jokes are made about chef Monica Geller, who is seen in flashback scenes as being very overweight as a teenager.

Courteney Cox had to wear a fat suit to film the scenes and despite the controversy that has surfaced in later years, she said: "I loved playing overweight Monica because I felt so free; I could dance... and just sit up and dance and have no problem at all. I did love it, and those are really good episodes."
