Schwarzenegger led the cast of the 1987 flick as the elite paramilitary Dutch Schaefer, whose mission to save hostages in the Central American rainforest takes a twist with a deadly alien encounter.

The film launched a franchise and features Arnie’s iconic ‘Get to the Chopper’ line, although the actor pushed his body to the limit during the making of the picture.

He said: "I took more abuse in 'Predator' than I did in 'Conan the Barbarian'. I fell down that waterfall and swam in this ice-cold water for days and for weeks and was covered in mud. It was freezing in the Mexican jungle."
