Arnie teamed up with his old rival Sylvester Stallone in the first three movies of the franchise – which also featured action greats including Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren.

However, he did not reprise his role as Trent 'Trench' Mauser in last year's fourth flick.

Schwarzenegger explained: "It's done and I'm not in it. I said, 'You know what, we have done this and I'm out of it.' And (Stallone) really understood."
