Navy SEAL training

In an effort to ensure John Rambo appeared battle-hardened, a US Navy SEAL was brought in to show Stallone how to evade a group of police officers who were attempting to detain him.

Rehearsing for the scene, the SEAL told the actors to attempt to pin him down, only for the military man to escape with ease and “lay out about three of them”, as Sylvester recalled.
