Custom knife

Sylvester personally selected renowned knife maker Jimmy Lile to design the iconic weapon Rambo wields in the movie.

The actor explained to Jimmy that he wanted the knife to be reliable for extreme survival environments - including slicing meat and cutting wood - waterproof, and be able to hold essential ices like medicine, fishing string and matches.

Once production began, the knife maker had created six blades, all of which were used during the film.
