It's been well documented that Sir Alec Guinness grew tired of his association with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

The actor previously said that he "regretted having embarked" on the movie, and only reprised his role in 'The Empire Strikes Back' and 'Return of the Jedi' "out of courtesy", because the attention of fans was too much.

Despite thinking it was "fairy-tale rubbish", Alec can't have hated the franchise too much, considering he was given 2.25% of the box office revenue, which translated into millions.
