Samuel L. Jackson is probably Mace Windu's biggest fan!

'The Avengers' actor played the Jedi Master across the prequel trilogy, and loved every minute of it.

Reflecting on the character - who was given a purple lightsaber on Jackson's request - he said: "What's great about Mace is he sees the big picture. He has total clarity about what's going on in the world. And he's on par with this one character that we all revere, Yoda. If Yoda had a vice-president, that would be me."

Samuel loves Mace so much, he even recently admitted he was desperate to wield the purple lightsabre again.

When asked whether he'd do a Disney+ spin-off show about the character, he said: “Everything, yes!"
