Seat belt safety

Although T.J. Hooker is a hero, he certainly does not set a good example for drivers.

Until season three, the officer could not be seen wearing a seat belt, and it was only towards the end of the show that the character begun to become more safety conscious.

By the time the show returned for its fifth season on CBS, T.J. could be seen buckling up a lot more frequently.
