Cancellation
Originally, ’T.J. Hooker’ was an ABC show, though the network canceled it in 1985, much to fans’ dismay.
Luckily however, CBS jumped at the opportunity and picked up the rights to the show. The network went on to produce the fifth and final season in 1986, though proved to not be as popular as the earlier seasons, due to the departure of Vincent Romano, less engaging stories and T.J. taking a back seat for Stacy Sheridan and Jim Corrigan.
