Friends
The sitcom about a group of six friends navigating life together in New York City wouldn't seem to be politically incorrect, but it has been criticized in the 2020s.
Some episodes have been accused of containing homophobic gags, whilst the lack of diversity in the cast has also been pointed out.
Flashback episodes showing Courteney Cox's character Monica Geller as an obese teenager have labelled "problematic" for insinuating that she only became "worthy" once she got thin.
Courteney though thinks the stories played an important part in telling Monica's backstory.
She said: "I loved playing overweight Monica because I felt so free. I could dance and have no problem at all. I did love it. Those are really good episodes.”
