I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

Starring Adam Sandler, 57, and Kevin James, 58, Dennis Dugan’s 2007 film ‘I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry’ follows two men who pretend to be a gay couple, in order to get domestic partner benefits.

The movie has since been branded politically incorrect due to its excessive and mocking gay jokes.

Vice stated that “if the film was panned upon its original release, its reception today would spark a maelstrom of fury".

Time Out journalist Ben Walters once wrote: “The film is actually a paean to male friendship with a severe case of gay panic: its leads can declare their love for one another but the thought of a kiss inspires revulsion."
