General Lee's Dixie horn is iconic, but it was not always going to be that way.

Producer Gy Waldron was relaxing for breakfast in Covington town square, when a car with a distinct horn came shrieking past him.

Deciding General Lee needed the horn, Gy chased the car down and once they managed to get it to stop, the producer offered the owner $300 for it, to which they agreed to.
