Dyed ducks

The entire movie was shot on a studio set, so the crew had get creative for outdoor sets.

For the duck pond in Munchkinland, they originally dyed the water blue as if it were reflecting the sky, but this only turned the ducks blue!

It was solved by painting the base of the pond instead.
