Jason Momoa’s Aquaman may be one of the fundamental pillars in the DC cinematic universe, but the actor was initially considered for a part in the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ movies.

The 44-year-old ‘Dune’ star had been wanted for the role of Drax the Destroyer, though turned it down, because he had “done so many things where I don't say much and I'm colored up and I have my shirt off again.”

The part eventually went to Dave Bautista, who starred as the hero in James Gunn’s trilogy.
