In fact, Emily Blunt was offered to be the Avengers member, but was forced to turn it down, as she was contractually obliged to take part in another movie.

In an interview, the ‘Devil Wears Prada’ star said: ”I was contracted to do 'Gulliver’s Travels'. I didn’t want to do 'Gulliver’s Travels'. It was a bit of a heartbreaker for me because I take such pride in the decisions that I make.”
