Hugh Jackman

Hugh Jackman is of course renowned for his role as Wolverine, but Marvel bosses at Paramount Pictures were also keen for him to plan another superhero.

The ‘Logan’ star was approached for the part of Iron Man, but ultimately tuned it down, due to his commitment to the ‘X-Men’ cinematic universe with 20th Century Studios.

Of course, Robert Downey Jr. was instead cast as the hero, and the rest is history.
