Josh Brolin

Rumors were rife that Josh Brolin was to play an older version of The Dark Knight in Zack Snyder’s ‘Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice’.

In an interview with Empire magazine, he addressed it and said: "We indirectly talked about it, but we never got to the point because I wasn't the guy for him. I'm really glad it didn't happen. I haven't thought twice about it."

The part ultimately went to Affleck.

But Brolin has played two Marvel characters; Cable in 'Deadpool 2' and main villain Thanos in the 'Avengers' films and MCU.
