He will forever be known as one of the men to play James Bond on the big screen, but Brosnan could also have Batman.

In a Q+A session on Reddit, Pierce was asked whether he had ever been approached to play the DC Comics character, to which he answered: "Yes, I did. I went and met with Tim Burton for the role of Batman. But I just couldn’t really take it seriously, any man who wears his underpants outside his pants just cannot be taken seriously. Don’t get me wrong, because I love Batman.”
