Liotta revealed that filmmaker Tim Burton considered him for the main role in his ‘Batman’ film, because he wanted someone real and edgy.

The ‘Goodfellas’ actor - who passed away in 2022 aged 67 - said: “I thought, ‘Batman? That’s a stupid idea’, even though he’d had just done one of my favorite movies of all time, ‘Beetlejuice’. So yes, I regret not auditioning for that.”
