Donald Trump on COVID-19
The world ground to a halt in early 2020 as the coronavirus pandemic took hold but Trump was feeling optimistic.
In February, he said: "One day - it’s like a miracle - it will disappear. And from our shores, we - you know, it could get worse before it gets better. It could maybe go away. We’ll see what happens. Nobody really knows."
Just a month later, his tone had changed remarkably.
He said: "I've felt it was a pandemic long before it was called a pandemic.
"I've always viewed it as very serious."
