On same-sex marriage

Trump has had varying opinions on the debate surrounding same-sex marriage.

Speaking to The Advocate in 2000, he said: "I think the institution of marriage should be between a man and a woman."

After being elected as president, The Donald declared that he was "fine" with gay marriage and would not attempt to change any legislation on the matter.
