No regrets about quitting 1D...

Zayn admits that his decision to quit 1D was motivated by his desire to be the first to go solo.

He said: "When it comes to my music and my business I'm serious about it and I'm competitive. So I wanted to be the first to go and do my own thing.

"I think I got out at the right time. I think if I'd have done it any longer, it might have affected me a bit more. I think we did the right amount."
