Zayn has two-year-old daughter Khai with ex-girlfriend Gigi Hadid.

The singer says that fatherhood saved him as his little one “brought colour back to his life".

He said: “Since I’ve had my daughter the main thing in my life is trying to be a good example to her. That’s why I’m even doing this interview.

"I think we all get to a certain point in adult life where everything sort of seems vague and grey and boring and she's brought that colour back to my life for me."

Zayn and Gigi share custody 50/50 but he would have his daughter more if he could.

He added: "I'm super full on, hands on with my child every chance I can be.

"If I could get 60 percent, I would have it."
