Forced to be the mysterious one...

During his time in 1D, Zayn was often labelled as the mysterious or brooding member.

But Zayn insists those labels were no different to how the Spice Girls were marketed as Posh, Scary, Ginger, Sporty and Baby.

He said: “They just said to me, ‘Oh, you can be the mysterious one,’ but it wasn’t necessarily my personality – I’m just chill.

“Some people have very high energy personalities and it’s just not the way I am.”
