Race Across the World star Lizzie Slater is engaged.

The influencer, who finished third on the BBC reality show with her brother Dom in 2020, was left beaming after her fiance Ferg Taylor surprised her with a ring during a getaway to Switzerland.

Lizzie took to Instagram on Monday (31.08.26) to share a sweet shot of the pair smiling with Grindelwald's mountains behind them as she flashed her sparkler, before showing it off again while raising a drink in a pub.

The TV star captioned the post: "Not another oneee," followed by multiple engagement ring emojis.

Fans showered the smitten couple with congratulatory messages in the post's comments section, as one gushed: "OMG AHHHH!!!! Huge congratulations Lizzie. So happy for you both (sic)."

A second supporter reacted: "Really is fabulous news Lizzie and Ferg. Huge congrats. Didn’t he do well!! xx (sic)"

And a third follower penned: "Best news for the best people! So happy for you both."

Lizzie and her brother Dom competed in the second series of BBC Two's Race Across the World in 2020,

They faced a gruelling 25,000km journey from Mexico City to Ushuaia in Argentina, travelling through countries such as Honduras, Panama, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Brazil before they reached the finishing line.

The siblings ultimately finished third, but their race was far from smooth sailing, with Dom suffering a seizure at a coach station.

Following the show, Dom said it "was an incredible life-changing experience".

While Lizzie added: "It was crazy, it was non-stop for about two months, and you can’t really explain the feeling to anyone because you’re in a constant competitive state."

At the time they entered Race Across the World, Dom worked as a teaching assistant while Lizzie was a chalet host.
