Junior Andre approached for 'commissioned' nepo-babies reality TV competition series
Junior Andre and other nepo-babies have reportedly been approached for a new reality TV competition series that will see up to 12 children of some of the UK's biggest celebrities take on real jobs for a day, with the least hard-working contestant being eliminated after each episode.
A new reality TV competition series that puts nepo-babies against each other has reportedly been commissioned.
It will challenge up to 12 children of some of the UK's biggest stars to take on real jobs for a day, with the least hard-working contestant being eliminated after each episode.
The Sun reports that model Katie Price, 48, and 53-year-old singer Peter Andre's son, Junior, 21, 55-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden's daughter, Lexi, 20, and 47-year-old TV presenter Jeff Brazier's son Freddy, 21, have been approached about the show, said to be loosely inspired by The Simple Life.
The programme - which ran from 2003 until 2007 - followed 22-year-olds Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie ditch their lavish celebrity lifestyles to live like everyday people.
A source told the publication: "Katie Price’s son Junior and Amanda Holden’s teen Lexi have been approached for the gruelling new TV show.
"It will see if they can survive a REAL day’s work.
"Bosses are hoping to get twelve of the country’s favourite nepo babies and many of them are currently in talks.
"The show has already been commissioned and will almost certainly go ahead as soon as everyone is signed up."
They continued: "Think The Simple Life but with even more nepos.
"Every episode they will have to take over a different business without help from anyone.
"It will be things like running a hotel or a zoo.
"The nepo who fails to impress will get sent home."
It is believed that the new series will go down a storm.
The insider added: "The channel is yet to be announced, but the creators are confident it’s going to be brilliant viewing as the kids lift the lid on what life is really like with their famous parents."
Junior Andre's sister, Princess, recently gave fans a glimpse into life with her famous family in her ITV2 reality TV show, The Princess Diaries.
The 19-year-old TV personality let cameras follow her as she juggled life as an influencer, as well as growing up in the spotlight.
In the programme, Princess opened up about the difficult relationship between Katie and Peter, who married in September 2005 after meeting on reality show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! but split in 2009, with their divorce finalised in October that year.
She also discussed how their bitter separation impacted her as she was growing up.
