Katie Price is planning a documentary about her husband Lee Andrews.

The 48-year-old reality star married her fourth husband in January, just days after they met for the first time, and they've had a turbulent six months of marriage after he went missing and was discovered to be in prison in Dubai over unpaid debts.

Katie stood by her man, and has now told the Reign podcast: "There will be a documentary coming out about Lee, and he knows about.

“He’ll be appearing in it and yes, there is scandal around me — there always is. Not only now, there’s years of it.”

Katie noted that Lee deserves "his right of reply".

She added: "With Lee, it’s not fair to talk about him without him being here to have his right of reply. But I am really happy.”

It's not clear where the documentary will air.

However, there is a chance she could work with Louis Theroux's Mindhouse, which is the production company behind her new Katie Price: Nothing To Hide docuseries.

Earlier this week, Katie admitted her family don't approve of her relationship with Lee, and they are refusing to meet him.

During an appearance on ITV show This Morning, Katie said: "You just have to see their [her family's] reaction. They're like: 'Why? Why has she gone off and married him? What an idiot she is. What is she thinking?'

"It is making headlines and I've said to Lee: 'You are not helping yourself'. I told him when he come out of prison: 'Don't go on socials' ... Just leave it, give yourself a break but he don't listen ...

"I've just got back from Dubai. I know a lot that other people don't [but I know] it [the marriage] looks so messy out there.

"People don't believe you were kidnapped ... they think it's all a joke. It's not really fair on me ... because it doesn't look good on me."

She claimed "it's just not fair" that people don't believe "it's a marriage", while Lee has promised to "do a lie detector test" when he returns to England.

She added: "My family don't want nothing to do with him. And you can't blame them because of what's out there ...

"I want them to [meet him] but at the moment they're like no. Because they are protecting me ... And I love that, my family friends, they're all protecting me ...

"Men have been the downfall of my life they're protecting because they don't want another one to use, me break me all of that ... Yes I married him quick but I am so protective that I won't let a man hurt me, break me destroy me again."
