Katie Price reveals 'biggest regret of her life' in television
Katie Price has recalled one particularly moment she fell short on screen.
Katie Price has named Eurovision as the "biggest regret" of her life.
The 48-year-old former glamour model has had her fair share of drama and controversies over the years, but she has insisted she "hated" the time in 2005 when she was runner-up in the UK's search for its entrant into the annual song contest.
She told Radio Times magazine: "It's the biggest regret of my life, Eurovision.
"I have still got the Eurovision outfit in my garage, and I've still got the boots with it."
Although the outfit is still at home, Katie has no plans to revisit the experience, and she joked it could be auctioned off or donated to a museum.
Over two decades ago, she competed with Andy Scott-Lee, Gina G, Tricolore and eventual winner Javine in a bid to represent the UK at Eurovision.
She was hoping to be named the UK's entrant with the song Not Just Anybody, but fell short.
Last year, Katie reflected on the experience and acknowledge she couldn't actually sing the track.
Speaking on her own podcast, she said: "I haven’t got any memories of Eurovision apart from when I was going to represent the UK in Eurovision and they weren’t good memories...
"The thing is I couldn’t even sing the song then and I couldn’t sing it now, yet I can sing. But I still can’t sing that song. I hated it.
"The whole bulls*** about, ‘oh you’re going to get a Sony album but you have to do this song’ and then they found out I was pregnant and then I lost my one percent."
She insisted the fallout was "just all political stuff", and noted there was a lot she regretted about the contest.
She added: "It’s just all political stuff, as usual but anyway, that’s always a regret of mine doing that.
"If there’s any regret of any job, it was me doing Eurovision in the pink rubber catsuit being seven months pregnant. Trying to hide the fact that I was pregnant."
The bid for Eurovision came shortly after Katie appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!
Unfortunately for the reality star, she only gained 29 percent of the vote.
In 2024, she shared a fan-made video documenting her failed attempt, and quipped: "Wow memories lol. I couldn’t sing that song then and still couldn’t now!
“But still an achievement.”
