Loose Women star Brenda Edwards says nights out with her fellow programme panellists are a "bit dangerous".

The 56-year-old singer-and-actress has been a part of the ITV lunchtime talk show since 2019, appearing alongside the likes of Denise Welch, 67, Ruth Langsford, 65, Nadia Sawalha, 60, and 26 year old GK Barry - real name Grace Keeling.

Brenda is quoted by the Daily Mirror newspaper's The Diary column as saying: "Loose Women nights out are a bit dangerous!

"A lot of us got together at the TV BAFTAs earlier this year, and that was a long night! They know how to party.

"But the thing is, we don't go out a lot. So when we do, we make the most of it.

"I'm good friends with so many of them. It's a bond we have."

The star - who shot to fame after finishing fourth on The X Factor in 2005, and went on to appear in many West End productions, including Chicago, Hairspray, and We Will Rock You - has quashed constant speculation that there are feuds among the Loose Women panellists.

Brenda explained: "The women are all different personalities, which I think is what makes the show so unique and one of a kind, you know? Everybody's entitled to their own opinion.

"It's a debate show, and if we all had the same opinion, it would be very boring.

"A lot of people in this world are always arguing about religion, or politics, or money, but to me, everyone should just chill out a bit and realise people are all entitled to their own opinions, as long as no harm is done.

"The women all come together in fun times and in sad times, they're really supportive.

"I love being a Loose Women."

Elsewhere, Loose Women panellist Janet Street-Porter, 78, recently said that viewers can easily work out who she does and does not get on with when they watch the programme.

During a Q+A session during her Off the Leash one-woman show at the Greenwich Theatre, London, on September 15, attended by BANG Showbiz, an audience member asked Janet: "Who's your favourite and least favourite Loose Women?"

The outspoken journalist replied: "Easy to answer!

"Watch that screen carefully, watch it every day, make a chart.

"Who never appears with whom - that's your answer!"
