Chloe Sims is reportedly in talks with The Only Way is Essex bosses to return to the franchise that made her famous.

According to The Sun, producers are hoping to reunite some of the most familiar faces from the beloved reality show for a new series based in Indonesia, which will be focused on mental health, therapy and wellness.

And among those who have already held meetings with the execs is Chloe, who left The Only Way is Essex in 2022 after 11 years, the newspaper reported.

A source told the publication: “The Sun previously revealed that TOWIE bosses are keen to bring back various show legends for the spinoff, and now our moles tell us that Chloe Sims has had meetings with producers about returning for it.

“Chloe was intrigued as it’s different from the regular show, and more focused on mental health and wellness, which she is really into.

“It’s not a done deal yet, but the format is a way for her to return to the franchise which made her a household name, without having to get involved in all the drama and rows.”

Following her time on TOWIE, Chloe headed to Los Angeles alongside sisters Frankie, Demi and Charlie for their own spinoff House of Sims, which came to an end after two short series.

Other names reportedly being courted for the new TOWIE spinoff, which would apparently involve the stars sitting down with therapists for what will effectively be public therapy sessions, include Gemma Collins and James ‘Arg’ Argent.

However, one person who isn’t on board with the new show concept is James Lock, who appeared on TOWIE from 2013 to 2023, who told The Sun: “The fact that they’re doing a therapy show, when they’re the ones that caused people to have therapy is an actual joke.

“There’s no hard feelings with the bosses as such, life’s too short, I don’t hold grudges, but the fact that they’re doing a therapy show is a joke.

“I don’t take therapy and mental health as a joke. Mental health is a very serious problem for men, women, everyone in this world these days.

“People feel the pressures and I think the fact that they’re trying to do this spin-off, even if is distasteful, how can you make therapy or mental health tasteful.”
