The Bradbury Building - Blade Runner (1982)
Few Los Angeles buildings have enjoyed a screen career quite like the Bradbury Building at 304 South Broadway in Downtown Los Angeles.
Ridley Scott transformed its spectacular Victorian atrium into part of J.F. Sebastian’s decaying home in 1982’s Blade Runner, starring Harrison Ford, Rutger Hauer and Sean Young, with Deckard’s climactic pursuit of Roy Batty beginning inside the building.
Opened in 1893, its iron staircases, cage elevators and glass roof have made it irresistible to filmmakers.
It has also appeared in Double Indemnity (1944), D.O.A. (1950), The Artist (2011) and (500) Days of Summer (2009), among many other productions.
Next, Griffith Observatory - Rebel Without a Cause (1955)...
