In 2019, Coleen found herself at the centre of one of Britain's biggest celebrity stories when she accused Rebekah Vardy – the wife of Wayne's England team-mate Jamie Vardy - of leaking stories from her private Instagram account to The Sun newspaper.

Coleen's social media accusation went viral, concluding with the immortal line: "It's......... Rebekah Vardy's account."

Vardy denied the allegation and subsequently sued Coleen for libel.

In July 2022, the judge ruled that Coleen's allegation was substantially true, and Vardy's libel claim failed.
