Using I Will Always Love You to revitalise a community

Dolly famously used the enormous royalties she earned from Whitney Houston's iconic 1992 hit cover of I Will Always Love You for social justice. Rather than pocketing the money, she invested directly into purchasing commercial property and revitalising an underfunded, historically African-American neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee. Dolly chose the location specifically to honour Whitney's legacy.
