Telethon Queen

When a deadly fire swept through Sevier County in 2016, Dolly organised and held a telethon that raised more than $13 million to aid the relief efforts.

Dolly was able to call upon celebrity friends Kenny Rogers, Chris Stapleton, Reba McEntire and Cyndi Lauper to join the event.

Parton then also pledged $1,000 per month for six months to approximately 900 families who had lost their homes.
