The Oscar-winning actor has accumulated a wild list of near-death experiences, including a terrifying skydiving mishap where his parachute knotted up and failed to open.

DiCaprio recalled the terrifying plunge, explaining: "My first chute didn't open, and the instructor tangled up the second one."

He described the frantic panic in mid-air, remembering: "I thought we were just plunging to our deaths."

Thankfully, the One Battle After Another star's instructor was able to untangle the second parachute in midair.
