Following the astonishing box office performance of Steven Spielberg's 1975 film Jaws, a sequel was green lit and released in 1978.

Although unnecessary, film fans wanted another great white fix, and the new killer shark brought people to the cinema in their droves.

Roy Scheider returned as Police Chief Martin Brody and this time he has to save his own children from the man-eating shark.
