Clint Eastwood
In 1951, Clint Eastwood was drafted into the United States Army during the Korean War.
Throughout his time in the military, the ‘Dirty Harry’ star spent his time as a lifeguard while stationed in Ft. Ord, California.
After he was honourably discharged in 1953, Eastwood used his G.I. Bill money to pursue his passion for the arts, and moved to Hollywood.
