James Earl Jones
Adam Driver wasn’t the only ‘Star Wars’ actor to serve in the armed forces, as James Earl Jones had also come from a military background.
The late actor - who is best known for voicing Darth Vader - joined the United States Army in 1935 during the Korean War, where he trained soldiers in Colorado and went from a second lieutenant to a first lieutenant.
However, Jones was honourably discharged in 1955, and decided to pursue his dreams to become an actor.
