Having become a Hollywood action star after appearing in the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’, ‘Spectre’ and ‘Dune’, Dave Bautista would like to branch into very a different role - most notably Ernest Hemingway.

The former WWE wrestler explained he “doesn’t want to be an action star”, and instead wants to portray the iconic author - reasoning his build and personality would be a perfect match with Hemingway.

He said: “I had to find a person, a personality, someone of physical stature that I could meet and match and be believable in playing.

“Because of the way I’m built, the way I look, my choices are somewhat limited. But I always thought there’s something really amazing about Ernest Hemingway — obviously his success as a writer, but he’s just such an interesting personality.”
