Jennifer Lawrence
With Renee Zellweger seemingly stepping away with the character after ‘Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy’, now would be a great time for Jennifer Lawrence to live out her dream as the lovable screenwriter.
The 34-year-old actress admitted the ‘Bridget Jones’ series have always been her comfort movies, and while she doesn’t want to replace Zellweger, Lawrence joked she “wants the movies to not exist” so she can do them.
She said: “That’s the movie I put on when I am homesick, although England is not my home. “When you’re feeling ‘bleh’ and you want a movie that you’re never bored of watching, Bridget Jones is that for me so it’s natural to say that I want to be Bridget Jones. But I never wanted to replace Renee Zellweger.”
