Having played something of an intergalactic policeman in Marvel’s ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ trilogy, Chris Pratt would now like to portray a more boots-on-the-ground law enforcer.

He said: “I’ve always wanted to play a cop.

Even so, Pratt admitted he had been offered such roles before, though had turned them down because he believes he only has “one chance” to take his dream part, and wants it to be perfect.

He explained: “I’ve had the opportunity to, but I haven’t taken it, because I take it really seriously and I think there is only one chance to do it for the first time. So I’ve passed up on a few opportunities, but at some point I will play a cop.

“It has to be the right film, the right character, the right message, the right portrayal. I think that’s important to me.”
