Selena Gomez accepts award for Only Murders in the Building

Selena Gomez was shocked when she accepted the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series for ‘Only Murders in the Building’.

The 32-year-old was taken aback when the Hulu show beat ‘Abbott Elementary’, ‘The Bear’,’ ‘Hacks’ and ‘Shrinking’ for the honour, and joked her co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin weren’t present at the ceremony as "they don't really care".

She said during her speech: "We never win, this is so weird.

“Marty and Steve aren't here because they don't really care. I don't really know what to say!"

Gomez’s co-star Richard Kind then reminded her to thank her missing friends and she added: "Oh and thank you to Marty and Steve for helping raise me."
