Demi Moore gets emotional picking up Best Actress prize
Demi Moore was moved to tears when she accepted the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role award.
The 62-year-old actress beat the likes of Pamela Anderson, Cynthia Erivo and Mikey Madison to secure the honour and said it was "so deeply meaningful" to be recognised for her work on ‘The Substance’.
Moore said: "This is extraordinary and so deeply meaningful as I was thinking about this night, I realised I hadn't thought back to when I got my membership to this incredible organisation.
"It was in 1978, I was 15, almost 16, and it changed my life because it gave me meaning, it gave me purpose, and it gave me direction because I was a kid on my own who had no blueprint for life."
