David Tennant kicked off the evening in style with a lively rendition of The Proclaimers hit 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)’.

The ‘Doctor Who’ star - who hosted the EE BAFTA Film Awards for the second time - performed the 1988 hit wearing a kilt in a nod to his Scottish heritage.
